Drone shots for La Linea della Palma
We were commissioned by HUGOFILM Productions GmbH and CENTRAL Productions Lugano to shoot the drone footage for the six-part crime series La Linea della Palma. Filming took place around Lugano - with our DJI Inspire 3 and state-of-the-art cinema drone setup.
Directed by Fulvio Bernasconi, the series tells the story of a young journalist who stumbles upon an unsolved art theft during her research and is drawn into a web of crime and power structures.
The filming was particularly challenging, as all the aerial shots were taken at dawn and dusk. In order to make the most of the short light windows, the locations were scouted and test-flown in advance - for an efficient and safe set.
La Linea della Palma has been available on RSI LA 1 and Play RSI since December 1st.
