In 2026, we once again had the privilege of capturing the Matterhorn Ultraks on film. For three days, our team—equipped with several videographers, cameras, and drones—was out on the trails around Zermatt.

From the EXTREME race of the Skyrunner® World Series under the toughest conditions to the VERTINIGHT and the kids’ race: Our goal was to capture the event’s diverse facets, athletic achievements, and emotions in a single highlight film.

Logistics along the routes posed a particular challenge. Using e-bikes, our filmmakers constantly moved between locations to ensure they were ready at the next spot in time for the first runners to arrive.
