Canton of Valais, Department of Mobility, Spatial Planning, and the Environment

The Department of Mobility, Spatial Development, and the Environment of the Canton of Valais has approximately 700 employees and manages an annual budget of 650 million. The head of the department, State Councilor Franz Ruppen, provides a brief and informative overview of this large and important department. The focus is on the priorities and values that the department and its employees embody day in and day out. In collaboration with Marco Decurtins, Franz Ruppen’s personal assistant, two promotional videos were produced—one in French and one in German.
