FIS Cross-Country World Cup Goms Stadium TV

From January 26 to 28, 2024, the international cross-country skiing elite gathered at the Goms Nordic Center. Over the course of three World Cup days, 200 athletes competed in five races. Guaranteed snow, challenging courses, and modern infrastructure ensured unforgettable competitions. The host broadcaster for the Cross-Country World Cup in Goms was Swiss Radio and Television. Thanks to the outstanding organization, the event was a resounding success for the destination and the entire Valais region.

Concept and Implementation

To make the action even more immersive for spectators in the stands, two large LED screens were used. During commercial breaks, the host broadcaster’s programming was supplemented with exciting interviews and fan photos. The fan footage entertained the spectators, while interviews with personalities such as former athlete Dario Cologna and Swiss-Ski President Urs Lehmann provided fascinating insights.
