UCI Mountain Bike Enduro World Cup

The Aletsch Arena and Bellwald were included in the gravity calendar of the UCI Mountain Bike World Series for the first time. From July 12-14, 2024, the world's best bikers competed on the challenging trail network on the Great Aletsch Glacier. The overall course of an enduro race is made up of various stages that are connected by transfer sections, whereby lifts can also be used to overcome the route. Accordingly, the race covered a long distance, from Riederalp to Bettmeralp, Fiescheralp and Bellwald.

Concept and implementation

Most spectators visited the event hub in the valley. There, however, they would only have seen the last few meters of the bikers. In order to make the event more tangible for the spectators, a reporter camera was on the road to conduct various interviews with athletes and spectators, and 8 trail cameras were used to transmit the individual stages live to the event hub in the valley. brual güet's LED trailer was also at the finish line. The entire footage was made available to media representatives and the association, guaranteeing the organizers a great response.
