FIS Ski World Cup Crans-Montana In-House TV

The Crans-Montana Ski World Cup is a highlight of the racing calendar every year—a spectacle full of excitement, spectacular runs, and enthusiastic fans. After more than 40 years, men’s World Cup races have now returned for the first time.

Concept and Implementation

The team at brutal güet was tasked with producing the in-house TV broadcast for the stadium and the fan zone in Ycoor. With two production control rooms—one in the stadium and one in Ycoor—as well as six cameras, including a wireless reporter’s camera, we delivered an entertaining in-stadium TV experience. Announcer Cloé Maria Salzgeber guided the audience through the event, interviewed the athletes, and brought exclusive insights directly to the fans.

To ensure a smooth broadcast, we set up the fiber-optic connection for the screens at the finish stadium, in the Houlès fan zone on the course, and in the Ycoor fan zone. In doing so, we laid a total of two kilometers of cable and utilized existing fiber-optic connections. In addition, our intercom system from Riedel Communications ensured seamless and reliable communication among all participants.
