AGITO with Magtrax: Golden Hen Award 2024
The Golden Hen is an annual German audience award that is broadcast live on MDR. One of the 13 cameras used was our AGITO. Commissioned by RemoteCamSystems, our AGITO provided dynamic camera tracking shots around the stage. A magnetic tape was used, which the dolly followed precisely. This made it possible to achieve dolly shots without rails.
Concept and Execution
Thirteen cameras were used for the production, including 5 mobile shoulder-mounted cameras, 2 Steadicams, a Spidercam, and an AGITO dolly. A particular challenge was ensuring that the mobile cameras did not get each other in the shot. The AGITO dolly was positioned at the edge of the stage and followed a magnetic tape laid on the floor. This enabled dynamic camera movements without the need for
rails.
